 We have bought 106 it is on the corner of the block opposite the park and the sales office .It is on the first floor next to the swimming pool.

Hi Debbie and Nigel my partner Geoff and I have bought atico number 54 in phase 1 of BDM ours is one of the apartments that faces inwards and has its back to Mar y sol. Hope that we all will meet up one day.

Really glad we found this web site (by accident really ) or we would have just been flying back and forth every few months just checking how the build was progressing.Thanks to everyone who has been in touch with us ,its good to know there's someone to talk to if we need any help.

Hi Debbie and Nigel and all  the BDM owners to be,l will be out there from Mon for 2 weeks, oh what joy to escape this rain.l wiil up date the photos when l get back and try to find out why they are constructing 2 pools when the plans showed 1 pool and a garden area.Plus test drive the Bars.Regards Pat.

I was told there would be two pools, as I believe Marie was.  I remember a previous exchange on this forum.  The back pool nearest the Mar y sol would be the pool Marie and I would use, and the two blocks your side would use the front pool.  Mind you, did you not say you purchased a couple of years ago !!!!! 

Whats the problem -  thought you only had one pool to negotiate back from the pub instead of two, I'm sure we could ask the builders to set up the lighting like an airport runway to help you get back in one piece !!!! 

Have a wonderful trip, wish I was going as well.

Hope your well and had a good trip.  You have gone awfully quiet since you went away, you didn't fall in the big hole on your test run back from the bars did you ? ! ! ! ! !

Hi Sharron Yes l had a good trip but had to rest as l was in hospital before l went with kidney stones,my mother who came with me  (to look after me but l ended up looking after her what a pair) then ended up having to visit the Vega Baja public hospital (just 10-15 mins up the road towards Orihuela  after some sort of bite on her leg that swelled up and blistered.The treatment she recieved was excellent did not have to wait long examined creamed and bandaged in no time (a 4hr min wait in Birmungham) they even done a blood test while  we were there and everything was fine (would have waited a week to get the results in england,.they then made an appointment to see a specialist in Orihuela 2 days later, and with the support bandage the swelling  blisters and bruising was already getting better,if it wasnt they said they would keep her in, so l asked why it went so bad from a little bite,apparently it was because my  mum   has legs where the blood vessels are near the surface of tthe skin and always wears support tights in england and was not wearing them in spain combined with to much walking in the heat that she had this reaction.Who wants to wear support tights in spain,who would have thought something so simple could prevent what happened,still you live and learn,so for the next few days l had to bleed the blisters bath them with salt water.put the cream on and bandage it, When she got the support it cleared up rapid. Not quite what l planed but still an adventure and nice to report the Spanish health service is excellent and quick.Regards Pat.

Sorry to hear about your troubles and I'm glad to hear your both back on the mend.  Maybe next time you go out you will have better luck!

Its good to hear the health service out there provide such an excellent service.

Will have to try and meet up sometime, especially as your so local !!

Hi Sharron yes we will have to meet up as we are local here and over there,l have been waiting to see the specialist at the heartlands since the last scan on June 19th,fed up waiting so l phoned them and was told it will be about Aug 24t,the scan showed there was still a stone in the left kidney and l may need another opperation so why didnt they remove  it when they opperated last time, answer they hoped it would pass through its self. The only way to speed it up is to go to casualty in pain so hey have to take me in and opperate.l want it well out the way before l go out to spain again on Sep 30th.to get some sun where has our summer gone.Regards Pat.

Sorry to hear of both yours and your mothers medical problems. I hope all gets sorted with you as soon as possible. Hope your Mum is well on the way to recovery !!
I just had an operation as well ( bladder/bowel) but nearly back to normal.  Like Sharon, Im glad to hear that healthcare is good over - at the rate we're going, we'll need it !!!!

How did you find BDM in general - things seem to be going along at a good pace.

Hi Marie sorry to here your health problem,hope your on the mend,l blame this crap weather,look on the bright side we got everything  out the way so when the apartments are ready its full steam a head,yes they are progressing well,l managed to get a few photos,much the same as Dave posted (his are slightly more up to date),its good to see the 3rd phase under way.cant wait to get back end Sep early Oct and really give the bars a hammering.get well soon Regards Pat.
