Hello again everyone. Just a little about last week's visit. Speaking to the foreman about the pool he told me he "thinks" the size will be 10m x 4m with a "little grassed area" and tiles'.He also said the last part of phase 2 could be complete by January 07. Carol and I were amazed to see how far up the road phase 3 has come but it's all taking shape nicely. The children's play area and boules' areas' are nice and to a good standard. Theres still nothing in the field at the bottom of the street.I met Bob, from No. 26. I think, who was saying he had been living there for a year now and would never return to the U.K. Another couple further down the street, Bill and his wife said the same. Alan and Aluned from Wales were there looking at their property No. 47 and were delighted. They thought it was bigger than they had realised. We brought a couple of friends' with us and they were very impressed with not only the apartment but the whole area including Carrefour's and the ajoining shopping centre, Torrevieja,s sea front and restaraunts' and the  infrastructure  of the whole place. My male friend has already enrolled for Spanish lessons' at Cramlington college. Just to mention the N.I.E. application.We were picked up at 5am. to be taken to Alicante to apply for them. We arrived there at 5.45.a.m. and had to wait for the gates' to open which by then was 8.45.a.m.There were 2 queues for that gate one for europeans' and the other for other various nationalities. Europeans, are prioritised and let in first much to the anger of people in the front of the other queue who began pushing, arguing  and rushing in only to be dragged out by the scruff of their necks' by the police. We found out that this is a free service but Iberian charge you for pleasure of! Well that will do for now so adios for now.Carol and Michael.

Hi Eveyone,

I have loaded some photographs form my visit to Hurchillo 25th to 28th Sept 06. The first four photos are various views of the kiddies' playarea and a black concreted area (not sure what this is going to be?) in front of  Phase1. The 5th photo is where I think the swimming pool will be (corner of Phase 3). Please correct me if I am wrong.

I met some lovely residents of Olivia Phase1 & 2. There seems to be a good community developing there. My solicitor has just informed me that  the "Final Deeds" for my apartment (and for some others in Phase 2 I believe) was signed before the Notary Public on 3rd October. The developer now needs to hand over the document to the Land Registry for its registration. I hope the signing of the final title deeds and completion will happen very soon!

How is eveyone else in Phase 2 getting on?

Regards,

Tony & Tracey
