Christmas

We have just arrived back in the UK after 6 hectic days moving in, we had pre ordered some of our furniture from local stores but we found that Carrefour in Torrevieja was realy good for electrical,lighting and household goods and Ikea in Murcia was great for all furniture etc. Both stores are easy to get to and both deliver Ikea 40 mins and Carrefour 40 mins.Be aware that Ikea beds only come  2 mts long and 2 do not fit in the second bedroom and Ikea is closed on Sundays. The Sat market in Almoradi is good for bedding. If we can help with directions or any queries pease ask. Looking forward to going back in Oct for a real break and meeting our new neighbours. If you like carrefour then you will love eroski.

Eroski and Carrefour are together in Elche, well just around the corner anyway. The big difference is that they are not half as busy as in Torre.

Take the motorway up to Elche, and after joining the other motorway take the first exit off and head down a long straight road towards Elche, ther are umpteen car sales places along here. Carrefour is on the right and a left turn at flyover takes you to Eroski. a shopping centre on its own.
