We have bought a duplex on Phase III of Luna Mar and was wondering if anyone else out there has bought at Luna Mar.

Hi, Yes there are a few of us to put our heads above the parapet. Check out Luna Mar II postings and click on ' Shared photos' at top of page. When did you sign and how are earlier phases going. We are in Phase 2. 

Hi, we signed for ours on 19th January.  Phase 1 was near completion at that stage and they were working away on Phase 11.  We have some photos of phase I , I will try to upload them to the shared photos

I have paid a deposit for a first floor apartment in Phase 3.  Lovely area and only 12 apartments in block so let's hope it will be a nice community.

Are you going to live there or is it a Holiday home????  Ours is a Holiday home, we have bought a ground floor apartment.

Holiday home to start with but do plan to live there permanently at least by end of 2008.

We were the first to put down a deposit on LM III back in November last year, and have been waiting for what seems like ages for some other people to sign up. It's great to know that we are no longer the only ones interested in LM III.


According to our agents there are now 5 of the 12 apartments sold. Ours is on the ground floor, one of the corner apartments, so gerkinsella, we will be neighbours,,, I hope you're not noisy :-).

It's a holiday home for us too.

Through this site we met someone who lives in Daya Nueva and they have sent us loads of photos of phases 1,2 & 3, but  you guys have probably  seen the "real thing"  more recently than the photos...

We are going out at easter and staying at a friends villa near Guadamar, we will use the time to look around the area more, visit our solicitor etc.

If either of you feels like sending me a private message I will happily respond with whatever details I can.

It  looks like building work has started again on this phase. There is also another base gone in with the concrete pillars sticking up on the same side of the road as phases 1 and 2. This one is directly across the road from the other one that hadbeen started.

Work on phase 2 continues with window and door frames in position, and it looks like a fair bit of work has been done inside.

The new development is identical to the base that was put down for phase 3, so I am assuming that it is maybe part of phase 3 or an extension to it.

Phase 1 is now complete and people are moving in.

Phase 2 is built or one part of it is, and the rest the building work continues day by day.

Phase 3 is further up and across the road, work has started on this again and the ground floor is being prepared for concreting.

The new phase is more or less directly across the road to phase 3. (the same side as phases one and two). This has got the base and lower verticals cast, and the builders are now building up the walls to ground floor level.

Thanks for the update.  It is good to hear about the progress and that work as started on Phase III again.  If you would be so kind as to post some photos if/when you get a chance I would be very greatful.

Just got back a couple of weeks ago after putting a deposit down for an upstairs apartment on luna mar III.

Really pleased we found this website, so that we can find  out about the area and the other buyers.

please give us the latest run down.

We have been told that the completion date is Jan 2008, is this what you guy's have been told ?

Don't know much about the area, but liked the look/feel of the area when we were out there in January.  It is great that it is only 10 mins drive from the beach and I like Almoradi which is only 4 km away. Hope to get out there during the summer for a holiday and a good look around the area.  How about yourself, are you going out there again this year???

Hi Geraldine, we're buying on Luna Mar II, hoping to complete June/July this year. We moving out there to live. Noticed on photos that your pic 2 shows a wall on corridor side of kitchen,while those I posted (kindly taken for us by Steve Cook) shows and open side to the kitchen on that side.

Did you notice different layouts on your inspection? Was there an option? The layout we saw Sept 2006 was a closed in kitchen. Can you throw any light on this?

Just for information to those of you who have joined us recently.

I am not a buyer in luna mar but have a place just up the road in the village. We have had our place for 3 years now and have seen  all the deveopments in the village. We do not live here but are on an extended stay for the first time. That will be coming to an end soon and we shall be driving back up to the UK.

As we are here i can see the on going works and how these places are coming together. I do have more photos than are uploaded on to the site, even as recent as 3rd March.

If any of you would like any info I will do my best to get it for you, or I would be only too pleased to answer questions if I possibly can.

Hi Howard,

The pictures we took were of phase I and we were in two aparments and both had walls on corridor side of kitchen. We were not given an option on the Kitchen, but our agent did say that some people were not getting the arch in the Kitchen.

Hi Mark and Sarah, welcome to the Lumamar III owners club!

Please PM me with your Apartment No, as I am putting together a grid of who is in which of the 12 apts. When it is complete I'll share with you all...So far it only includes Geraldine & I, but at least 5 of the Apts have now been sold.


On that basis I'd like to hear from any other LM III owners...

To add to the Kitchen Arch debate, all the Apts that I saw had this, it was only when Steve sent out his pictures did I see a Kitchen without an Arch/Wall for the first time.As apersonal preference, I prefer the kitchen WITH the arch & wall.

5 weeks today I fly to Spain again . I will take plenty of pictures of all the phases and post/distribute them.
