Hi everyone, we're living the life here in Spain. Unfortunately we were one of those broken into and robbed, and we had grills up. An unguarded moment, went to dump rubbish in roadside wheelie bins they use here (emptied at least twice a week!), forgot to double lock front door, stopped to talk to neighbour and they nipped in and helped themselves to cameras, mobiles, wallets and sat nav. We've learned the hard way. To anyone coming in the next wave make grills your first priority!!

Apart from that we're enjoying our best summer for years, sun nearly everyday,and you can eat out till quite late.

Thanks for the photos John, looking great. Really cannot believe there has been break ins in such a lovely place but echo the comments made and look out for each other and ensure the place is tight as a drum.

Debbie and I are going out 28th October for a week so will get some more photos and info that we can.

Hi everyone, just back yesterday from Daya Nueva.

If anyone interested one can hire a car from Daya Vieca...Roberto Properties...have number if anyone needs.

Got a new Opel Astra for 3 day including half a tank of petrol for 111 euro.

Met Pilar, as mentioned by others due to be ready end of Jan.   We are dealing with Sunline and they

said Golf Invest always finish on time.   I like to cook.   Oven does not have fan but I am to get one but

pay extra.

We stayed in Almoradi, rented an apt for 4 days.   Got good contact for taxi from Airport and for rental apt.   We got taxi

back to Airport for 30euro.  

Almoradi just 2km from Daya Nueva and very good supermarkets.

Again I went to Zone and say lovely leather sofas.  

They have tiled the En Suite and bathroom and were about to put in floors.

Frames for door in.   If I work it out, I will down load photos.

We walked from Daya Vieca back to ALmoradi 6km and as a result saw how lovely Daya Nueva is.

2 Bakeries and a butcher, etc.

Fiesta was starting Sat and we heard the fireworks from Saturday night.

hi,  just discovered the web site, i purchased a phase 2 ground floor property in sept 2006, was told it would be ready sept 2007 so paid a visit this september and its not quite ready, was told could be finished by end of oct begining nov. 

good info on website about furniture, electrics etc. little bit concerned about the break-ins, i have ordered grills etc   

hope to be living the spainish life in the near future, like to hear any info from others on this.

sorry not replied sooner, as have been away.   ahh the joys of being new to the internet, i just clicked where i saw luna mar in the heading!!

 in answer to your question we havent been given a singing date yet, and are still waiting to hear back from them about it.  we will be moving perminantly next september due to retiring.  once we saw the apartment we thought it was too good an opportunately to miss, so bought earlier than planned.  also this is the ideal villiage that we was looking for. 

we will be trying to come over as many times as we can before we move over perminantly.  hope to meet up with you and have a chat about things when we come over.

Thank you very much for the updated photos of Luna Mar.  Just a question for you it looks like from your photos that Phase IV is also more advanced than Phase III , does it look like that to you . We were told that Phase III would be completed end of January or early February, looking at the progress of photos not sure if this will be the case.

How are you settling in to your new life in Spain?? How do you like the village of Daya Nueva and surronding areas. Hope everything is going well for you.  We are not planning on going out until early next year, so hopefull will meet up with you then.  Did you get security grills on your place and if so are they expensive, also did you change your locks????

Just put some photos on taken this week.  Managed to get inside and love views from both front and back.  Last photo which is on it's own taken on way to aiport at end of week.  They are starting to paint the outside. 

Pilar told me that phase 3 is being built by the same subcontractors as phase 2 so at present they are concentrating on finishing off phase 2.  Phase 5 is being built by a different contractor who is working much faster.

It seems like i am out of a job. With some of you moving in and now on site i wont have to walk up the road  to take photos and keep you up to date. It gives me more time to meet up with any of you and leave the rest to those on site

Thanks for that update. We hope to sign within the next couple of weeks so the timing is perfect. We should be out there mid to late January and will look you up. Its always good to meet neighbours!
