Swimming Pools

Can anyone advise what the service charge is likely to be for upkeep of the swimming pools & common areas?

As I understand it a commitee is set up to cover the urbanization & fees are agreed for all the occupants to contribute to. Does anyone know if such a committtee has been set up or is it done when more residents are in situ?

 

   

Hi Jeff I live out in Fuengirola and when we moved in  approx 4 yrs ago  the first meeting was about 6 months after  the majority had moved in! The administrator called the meeting and those that attended voted a president-we were given a breakdown of monthly charges based on everything needed and then for each property. Once the president got organised  he changed some of the companies  to save money etc-so based on what i have experienced  it would be best to have a president that is on site  most/all of the time and  also a vice president ( 1 spanish/1english) would be perfect :The meetings are a real experience-time 8pm but starts at 9.30 someone then arrives with a case of beer-everyone shouting and the only thing arranged is the time of the next meeting!
