As some of you will know, we are purchasing on AA Resort, but there is no forum as it is complete, and you are all nearly neighbours on here .

For the last week, our surveyors have been contacting Key Mare to gain access for valuation. They are constantly being put off by being told that the person needed is in a meeting and that no- one else can make an appointment. The problem is that if we have no valuation we have no mortgage. If we have no mortgage there is no sale. If there is no sale it is deposit refund time (due to having sale subject to mortgage in contract).

This has been dragging on since July now with KM being obstructive all the way, first by taking weeks to provide contracts and now this. I am beginning to think they don't want to sell the place!!! The only contact details we have are the ones on the website and also from Phill's business card (which I have now given the valuer), does anyone else have any ideas of the best way to contact them?

I have the solicitor on the case at the moment. I have also emailed the agent and am waiting for a response.

My friend is an agent, that sells Key Mare products - So I have quizzed him with your questions. The agent gets paid all his commission after you have paid your first stage payment (might explain a few things!) having said that, if you bought "key ready", you probably had no stage payment to make.

Regarding valuations, he just sends his valuation companies to the sales office without an appointment and every time they are taken around by one of the sales staff.

My friend has the email and telephone number of his Key Mare account manager who is by all accounts very good. If you want the details PM me and I will send them to you. Probably a good first stage.

The information would be good please Jamie. Yes, this property is "straight to mortgage" with nothing to pay until completion, so it seems that the only people being shortchanged at the moment are Key Mare????
