I was there on Friday 5th and have to say, on the 2 blocks I looked at (Lila and Margarita), the communal areas are way off being finished.
By communal areas I mean stairwells and communal corridors etc, forget the landscaping.
Managed to get into one of the blocks (not sure which) with no doors on and got a bit of a surprise at the size of the rooms but the balconies are really quite good and as a holiday flat, that would be where you spend most time?
I won't be going to the expense of a snagging trip until I have 3rd party confirmation that the place is ready to be signed off.

guys
snagged my apartment tuesday again was dissapointed with the size but my cellar/basement room was a very good size and can be conveted into a self contained granny flat but not sure what i am goign to do with it.
had a chipped door in the kitchen and a few chipped tiles the lady said they wouldnt be changing them but she was told they would be changed or else off the missus who wont suffer anything less than it being perfect. all the mian rooms have sat and telephone connect points which is a good point. those with the huge terrace will struggle to use them in the middle of summer i was up tuesday and it was a red hot 28c at 1:30pm .
they assured me they have the license for the pools which was good all we need now are the putting green and the paddle/tennis courts etc.
the area needs a good landscaping as the spainish are prone to throw all the rubbish over the wall and let somebody else deal with.
those with the earliest finished could well be in b4 xmas but dont hold your breath but everyone should be in for next spring at the latest

I noticed a few chipped tiles in the bathroom of an apartment I managed to get into, earlier this month.
It was obvious they intended it to be the finished article as they had filled the chip (and I mean a complete 1" corner missing) with grout - I wasn't very impressed with the workmanship, so it will be interesting to see how they respond to your requests for repair?
BTW, what is the situation with regards to "checking" that the snagging has been done, do you have to revisit the site at another time prior to completion to sign off the works?
I am going to go out late November to snag mine.
It would be interesting to see any internal photographs of a supposed "finished" interior, if you took any?

Just returned from snagging mine, and my pals apt in mimosa and my fathers in amapola, nothing major found just daft bits of touching up and a few tiles to change here and there, aifos rep wrote everything down in front of me and my solicitor and then i had to sign to say it was correct, if you have a ground floor apt with basement you need to get a price off aifos or local builder if you want sockets, plastering and floor tiles etc as this is not included as they say all people use the basements for different things i.e another bedroom, cinema room, games room etc so you have the option to finish as you please, also if you have a garden you have to get it turfed yourself as aifos do not supply this either, some under ground parking bays also have storage cupboards but you have to pay extra for these if you want one, all the actual blocks are looking finished just bits here and there, all communal areas need leveling and landscaping, and roads need tidying, a few good weeks with some good gans of landscapers should see it off in my eyes, but you never know with aifos, i will upload some pics after
