Hi all

          Just wondering if anybody has put a safe in yet, if so where, I suppose the bottom of the fitted wardrobe is the best area but has anybody got a better idea.

 As it's one of the first things to do when we get out there, I've thought the wardrobe would be the best place, as apparently most thefts are of smaller items such as handbags, passports, purses etc... as long as the safe is of reasonable size and weight it should hoefully be a deterent no matter where its placed !!!

Have you managed to buy one yet or found out who sells them ? I was wondering if there were any that had bolt holes to attach more securely to a floor or wall.

Let us know how you get on, where you've placed the safe, what the combination is and when you are next out of the apartment

We have just returned from our first visit............FANTASTIC!

Everyone is very friendly and helpful.Great sunshine most of the time.

Regarding a position for a safe, what about under the sink unit in the bathroom? there is plenty of room and you could bolt it to the tiled wall behind, the bottom of the wardrobe might be OK but there is no direct wall or floor to bolt to.

The thread regarding RULES, I agree we should not need rules,anyway who has the power to enforce them ,BUT, not every owner will Know who is staying in their apartment, many owners will let through agents, so unless there are some guide lines ,who knows!!

     Thanks for the reply, yeah that's  not a bad idea, I had a similar thought in the kitchen area where there is a space for another appliance and bolt to the wall adjoining the utility room. We are out there in a couple of weeks so I will have another look, but cant spend too much time of my holidays with my head under the sink L.O.L
