Hola Amigos,

We have spoken to Mijas Town Hall and were informed that the LFO for Oasis La Cala was granted and signed on 9th Nov 2007. 

We have also spoken to IPS (Nell was unavailable) and were informed that IPS should be in possession of the LFO this week.

Lets wait and see if we receive any news from IPS.

Hi, we have bought a groundfloor apartment in block 1A. We have received a fax from our Spanish lawyer on the 16 November stating that she has been contacted by the DEVELOPER of Oasis confirming that they have already got the Habitation License and are ready to complete. Needless to say, we are now on the hurry up, as we did not think we would hear anything until Jan 08' the way things were going.

Hi we are in block 2 and I need to know if you have done your snagging report if so any tips?

Hi banger and everyone

I decided to get the snagging done for me as I didn't get time to get La Cala and it highlighted quite a few problems, some I would have missed myself if I had done, it the main one being the apartment had flooded at some period. Many of the problems regarded bad paint work, cracked celing plaster, the loo not being fitted properly and was loose, chipped cupboards  etc etc.

Just hope it gets fixed for January when I go and sort the furniture out.
