Christmas quiz - ho ho ho

Well it's nearly the end of January 2009.

Purchasers who stuck to the completion date of May 08 - If your bank guarantee was with HCC has anyone received funds without moving forward with court proceedings?  Anyone have updates with court action?

A  number of purchasers agreed to the new completion date of May 09. I have had it confirmed no building work has been carried out and road and pavements demolished.

Has anyone heard from the developer regarding updates.   

Early August our lawyer started proceedings and we were advised the process would take approx 7 months. Earlier this week we received an email advising us that the case had been admitted, and the plea will be sent which should be replied to within 20 days of receipt.

Has anyone else got to this stage or further?

Google full of 'Alcaucin arrests' - is this applicable to El Balcon? It would certainly answer the lack of communication for over a year from the developer.

I hope they all spend years in jail.
