Delays at Al Andalus Thalassa

Hi,

We are buying on phase 2 and have not heard anything from key mare (I dont think that they have my email address.) As this is a long delay I would think that we should get a letter, our contract states 30/3/06. Do you have a date on your contract? I did ask this same question on VIVA ALMERIA but no one else sais that they had a date on their contract. Did Key mares email give any further information?

We are also buying in Phase 2, but have not been notified of any delay and cannot see a date on the contract itself though there is no doubt other paperwork said May completion. In fact we were told by KeyMare that the actual building work would be completed before May but they could not cope with all the Phase 1 & 2 Contracts at once andtherefore they would be staged through from March to May.  

We will be visiting Vera in the middle of November and intend visiting Key Mare to discuss the situation.  I will also ask my Agent to investigate and will report back any news.

Hi, your comments have shocked me, i have bought on phase 1,  i am repeatedly being told that they are still on March/April completion date, has anyone actually been given written confirmation of this delay or is it just a rumour.

I rec'd the email in response to me asking for confirmation from the builder as to an exact completion date as i wanted to book flights etc.  I was hoping to get out in may half term with my kids but looks like i won't even get out in Aug Summer hols.  I asked the builder if i could delay my last payment to coincide with the delay but they stated there was no delay.

This is the transcript of the exact emails i have received.

How can they say there is not a delay, when they have told you September, the completion date has always been March/April.

As regards to your final payment this does not have to be paid until final completion.

I cant understand where this 6 month delay has come from all of a sudden.

My purchase contract clearly states that completion is 24 months from April 05, and that compensation kicks in 3 months after this.

 I have just had it confirmed from my solicitor that there is a delay, she said at the moment they could not say how long, but could be "June, July etc" to quote her e-mail. She said she would et us know as soon as she had more details.

I have after seeing this sent my agents and solictor as message as we are going over in January to do our paperwork will inform message board

have sent 4 emails and rang the agents twice today with no reply re this date

just the general letter of confirmation that it is march-april?

Just had an e-mail back from Key Mare Customer Care saying that completion for Phase 1 is in May 2007.

This sounds better news than some of the rumours.

My solicitor knows of a delay but not the month

My agents for phase 2 are saying july , and i have been told march april may? in the same week

I am Phase II.  We were originally told by a Key Mare representative that there was very little difference in the actual building completion date for Phase I & Phase II. The reason for having 2 phases was because of the number of properties involved and the length of time it will take to complete all the paperwork involved for final completion.

I have emailled Key Mare, but no response.  I will confront them in a couple of weeks when I visit Vera.

We're buying on Fase A and I've just had a reply from Key Mare to say that it's scheduled to complete May 2007. I've pasted it below.
