Yes thats phase 2 /phase B. ( my contract with Key Mare sais phase b)

We bought in July on Al Andalus Hills (just down from Thalassa) and we also encountered lots of delays.  Your next problem, if Keymare respond to form, will be to allow each of you only one visit to do the snagging and no photos allowed.  Don't be bullied.  We went twice and had a pro snagger in as well.

Its not all doom and gloom.  We really love it there.  The apartment is v nice (with only one snag now outstanding), and we have great neighbours.  I was out there last week and the torrential rain caused a few sagging problems but already Keymare are sorting it out.  Benefit of having the builder virtually on site still, I guess.

If you want any info on snagger or a Keymare place to stay when you are visiting, please contact me privately.

Yesterday we received from Keymare a pamphlet that indicated that out apartment has the foundations in and the outside structure complete, but all else remains to be done. It is cldear that Aug/Sep 07 will be the earliest we can expect completion. 

Has anyone else received the glossy pamphlet?

I had hoped to visit next week, but due to a slight health glitch, which has stopped me flying for 6 weeks, we will now be going out on 9 Jan.

we recieved a picture of progress- we are on phase 1 and are told by key mare may 2007 completion. There is alot to be done but it is possible.

Although progress does not seem brilliant from our last visit in  early October!

We purchased last year on phase 1 and also have received the photograph but no talk of any delay, so i am pressing my solicitor.

They sorted out the NI numbers very quickly for us.

We have just returned from 2 days in Spain, lots of progress since our last visit in December, but still lots to do.  We can confirm what other people have said that Key Mare are giving a completion date of May for phase 1 and August/September for phase 2. 

We visited Thalassa on Sunday when the builders were not around, sneaked on site and actually got into our duplex.   This was a bonus we weren't expecting. This was just as well because although we found all the windows and doors were fitted and it had been completely tiled throughout, they had managed to put the wrong tiles everywhere except the downstairs shower room (bearing in mind that we own a tile shop this was the worst thing they could have got wrong!)  We were on site for about an hour and managed to have a good look around before being spotted by security guards who insisted in escorting us off site.  

On Monday we went to the Key Mare office and although we had to confess to trespassing on site they assured us that all the tiles would be replaced with the correct ones we had chosen last year.  We wonder if this would have been possible (or caused more delays) if it had only been noticed at the snagging visit.  We wonder if any other plots are the same.

We have uploaded some photos onto the site.  The development looks a complete mess but it was still good to visit and see the progress.
