Has anyone else received a letter about a meeting on 5th February at the Altea Hills Melia Hotel at 10.30

Does this mean that  the Certificate has been granted????????

or near being granted??????????????????

Anyone elser have any news.

Hello All

We have just got back from Spain this evening having stayed at our apartment over the weekend. The weather was wonderful with wall to wall sunshine and temperatures in the low 70's.

We checked at the Ballester office and they said the letter confirmed that there will be a meeting to set up the community and elect a President etc. The lady in the office didn't know when the Habitation Certificate was likely to be issued although she had overheard 2 of her colleagues speaking and they had suggested it may be as soon as 15 days. I suppose it is a case of watch this space.

Work on the repairs to the swimming pool are well underway and there were 3 or 4 garden maintainence people working on the outside of the pool this morning, jet washing the area and generally tidying up.

Nice to hear the weather in spain is so good.

The meeting is on 5th as mentioned below - we have been told that it will be in spanish, unless there are enough english speaking owners going.

Is anyone else thinking of going????????

We have also been told that the Certificate is imminent - by end of January -but we have all heard that one before - fingers crossed this time is will be correct.

Hi All

Unfortunately we are not due to go back over to Spain until May and so will have to give the meeting a miss. Our experience from the last property we owned in Spain is that you really need someone who speaks good Spanish with you as everything which was discussed was in Spanish only, as were the minutes that were subsequently received.
