Thought Id telll you my expirience

Hello, I dont think many people will be intrested as most people wont change country without security but we have just come home from our last trip to spain before our move and have been offered a builders mortgage as number 44 and many more on that row allready have a mortgage on them. ( by the builder).

While we were in spain we went to some banks about there rates for a mortgage and all were over 5% but TARAY has offered me  4.2% and I have been told this is an excellent rate, Take it!

Dear all, just back from our visit. Caja Murcia (with whom the builder has a mortgage) are currently advertising in the spanish press Euribor plus 0.45% and no commission. Don't know what the conditions are but worth investigating nonetheless! We saw this after taking over the builders mortgage with Caja Murcia at a slightly higher rate and are therefore a bit peeved. One of the other couples we met got a mortgage thro' a different bank (can't recall which one) and they said that this was even better (less than 4% in total) so its definitely worth shopping around if you can.

Merry boxing day (sad i know, on the internet!) but in spain they must work because we had an email stating the valuation of our house, If anyone would like to know or share there information, our house has been valued at 166,510,46 euros.

We had our Mortgae accepted via "Cam Bank" in March last year the rate then was 3.75%.  Just been told via our agent that the pressent rate from Cam Bank is approx 4.5%
