Hi,
We visited Frondoso a few days ago. Work is steadily progressing. Some street lighting and pathways in place. They did admit they had problems at first with the builders but all these problems have been ironed out and things moving at a much quicker pace. Many workmen on site. We were told Phase M2 may actually be completed ahead of plan by approx 5-6 months !!!!!
I wouldn't advise visiting the bar at the bottom of the hill at lunchtime. Its full of the builders off the site.
We visited Sangonera Verde. Had a drink in a bar there and were told it is a very spanish village and they rarely have english visitors there! I think that may change a little in the next few years.
Weather was quite warm whilst we were away. We even spent some time on the beach. We stayed at San Pedro overlooking the Mar Menor as we have friends who live in Los Alcazares. Visited Cartagena which was really nice. There is a port, a harbour, nice shops and some lovely buildings. There's a roman influence there and although we didnt have time to visit the ampitheatre, we will do so on our next visit there.
We intend to stay nearer to Murcia next time we visit and explore the area closer to Frondoso.
Look forward to hearing from anyone with further updates.
Alison and Eddie
