Hi Barry & Mandy, Got a suprise this morning 8-30am still middle of the night, workers unloading outside our house, getting ready to top off your pool (see first set of photo's 34544), watched them at times during the day found that they were really working as a team each one seemed to know what the others wanted at all times a very professional team. See second set of photo's (74999) I think you will be delighted with the result, lets hope the next phase is done as well as this. Regards to Mandy hope she is well. Will keep you posted Ray

Just got your message as we have been away this weekend. Your right the top looks great and I believe they are tiling today, which means we can't be far from completion at last. After that you should only have the noise of the wall being built and the surrounding tiles being laid, which hopefully will be a little quieter than digging a hole for a week.
Mandy is well, but starting to ache a bit. No sign of the baby up to now, but only 3 and a half weeks left.

Hi Barry & Mandy, As you will see from the photos more progress on the pool and the pump unit is in place although not piped up yet, also you can see the balustrades are being fitted on the adjoining wall. Cheers Ray

Thanks Ray, it looks great. Very pleased so far, the pump is the wrong one and apparently it will be changed tomorrow. It should be flat so that we can cover it will a potted plant of some sort. Balustrade looks good, getting a couple of prices for the painting of it, because I really don't fancy doing that much !!

Hi Barry, Still no movement as regards changing the pump unit , the one fitted has been piped up and is switched on and working. I had a good look round this morning and found some damp patches these can only have come from the pool as there has been no rain, also I believe there is a leak in the pipe work near the pump as the ground is very wet in that area. Hopefully they will change it soon, they have not asked for their final payment yet so I can only assume that this means they know they have not finished. Presumably they can sort the leaks at the same time, I hope.

Hi Barry, I think I may have made a mistake in saying the pool is leaking, after discussing it with others it appears that humidity from the back fill of the steps seeps through giving a false impression of leaks. Hope I didn't upset too many people. Cheers Ray
