We had a letter from Key Mare this morning and they have told us our apartment is ready for compleation from 23rd May. Best of luck to all.

We had the same letter - now frantically trying to sort out mortgages etc.  Has anyone signed up for the MRI aftersales service?  Just wondering whether to go ahead with the solicitors they recommend in Almeria or Rocquetas or find someone a bit nearer.

Hi there. great news. We are block 1 on the hillside, anyone had a courtesy visit in these apartments yet? We have not heard anything. The completions from 23rd May, have the courtesies already taken place on these? Jo and Steve

HI Jo and Steve, we paying our courtesy visit next week 7th May, we are buying on the hillside block 5. We had our flights booked to go out 6th May anyway, and then got the call from Keymare so will get to have a look at our own place. Like Pauline we are trying to organise finances now, I know we dont have to complete until Sept, but we are very tempted to complete earlier if we can. As far as I know they are organising the visits per block, so you should be hearing from them soon. Best of luck, Tricia and Anto.

To be fair to Noreen she has advised some of us newbies on various matters through pms including the aforementioned company,  and am sure she is prepared to continue to give her  honest and fair opinion to others if required. Tricia

You are quite right that I have named & shamed in the past but at that time this forum was not as strict as others & this was allowed. However, Justin recently reviewed the rules for using this site & the following now applies:

DON'T MENTION COMPANY OR EMPLOYEE NAMES - Please do not use the forums to complain about companies or individuals.  We are not in a position to be held liable for defamatory content on our site over which we know nothing about.  Therefore, please do not mention any company names or their staff if you have any compaints.  This is not the place to vent your anger.

There is absolutely no point in me detailing the issues we encountered with MRI on the open forums, only to have them deleted because the content is against the rules. That is why, in my response to Pauline, I specifically stated that if anyone wanted a direct response to the questions that Pauline had raised then I was quite happy for them to send me a PM. I also stated the reason why I wasn't posting the details on the forum

I have total respect for what Justin is doing with EOS & therefore unlike others I post within the rules. I guess the positive outcome from following the rules is that I have never had any posts edited or deleted & the information that I post in an attempt to assist others remains on the forums to help any other newbies that come along.

Tricia - Many thanks for your positive  response.

Again, I would state that I am willing to share my experiences of purchasing a property in Spain but if it involves comments on individual companies then I will only do that through the PM system.

would it not be best to do this via a pm and not let this site turn into the farce like some of the thalasus topics

as many of you will see from the thalasus topics there are only a handfull of people who now contribute to the site

 if you pass comment and the few dont like your thoughts they inflict their beliefs on to you , some even try and run the complex from their armchairs back in the uk

So we dont spoil this thread any more please respond via pm and not on the compleation date board

maybe this request will taken on board , i doubt it , i bet there will be few who wont resist ,
