I have bought in block 8 phase 2 and are having the same problems as you. Have you any idea when completion is due on the blocks we have bought as i have been told it will be finished end of March 07. Do you know of any reasons why this completion date will not be on time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I went out there during the last week-end and everything seemed fine. The apartments are more less complete. There was just a bit of dust here and there. The work men were sprinkling the lawn. If you check out Ocean View Travel you'll see that the apartments are now on the rental market. Special thanks to Jamie Lucas who is leaving Ocean View for help and advice. I've waited so long but I think it will all happen soon

We have just completed on our apartment in Phase 2, and got our Spanish Lawyer to arrange for the snagging report to be carried out.

The completion date was set for Thursday3rd May but it was delayed by a day as OVP had "forgotten" to pay 20,000+ euros to the developer so they had to bring a cheque to the notary for completion to go ahead.  A representative turned up with a cheque for double the amount that was owed so we had to wait until the next day when they could return with the correct cheque.

we have received no information from OVP with regards to completion, snagging, furniture packs etc & when I asked them to provide us with the information they said that it wasn't going to be any use to us now as we were only a few months from completion.  Needless to say we are going to be furnishing the property ourselves.

Have been browsing OVP developments on this site.  If anyone is aware of purchasers of an OVP development at Sotogrande, please refer them to the "Ribera del pez luna" forum.  Problems are afoot with this one as well and any experinces of fellow buyers would be welcome.
