We have had electric shutters put into our Mar Menor Ground floor living room which now they are erected, have come in 4 pieces ( we were told one piece at the time of quote)with posts to support each blind. We have been told that they go up and down in one movement but the posts and the structure above the window frame that holds the shutters looks like shop wondow security shutters in my opinion. They have said that you cannot have just one shutter as this would be too heavy and could bend at either side with the weight.
This is a very large window and much larger than other Polaris windows. Polaris did not put shutters at the time of build,( cost cutting no doubt) only into the bedrooms. It would appear that if we wanted a more strealine look then we have to rip out the whole structure and that would cost a small fortune. As it is, the shutters cost 900 euros which we have not paid for yet.
Any one got an ideas and have we been told the correct information regarding one shutter is not possible due to the width side. Any feedback greatly appreciated.
