We move out on 31st March, house all packed, van and ferry all booked.

We were both made redundant at Christmas so decided better to retire early and be poor in Spain than in the UK.

Alancambs.  All the best in your new life and hope you have a great time.  Was hoping to be there myself by now but agreed to stay on in work until the end of this month.  All our stuff is already in Spain and will be joining you very soon (well, not literally but will be in the same country at least).

We were originally going to move out in 3 years time but by being made redundant  the decision was made for us, as my wife says it’s cheaper to live in Spain than England and we also have the bonus of retiring earlier.

Much more relex lifestyle, outdoor living is a must and the exchange rate can only get better.

Take the plunge and pack up and do the move.

Sorry, no.  It's good old Paddy airlines for us.  Don't like them, especially after my last trip, but now that Easyjet have pulled out of E Mids we have been cut down on choice.  BMIbaby, who I prefer, have got silly prices and O'Leary cattle class now have sensible flying times at weekends.  It's only just over 2 hours so I can hack the poor pre and in flight service they provide. 

Will be on the ferry from Portsmouth as soon as my house sale goes through (one way ticket----gee, that sounds good).

We have hire a van one way so don't have to drive it back, for a small charge they even deliver it to you house.

Dog now has passport and kennel booked on the boat.

Now sorting last few bit in the house, wonder where all this stuff came from???

Also wondering where it's going to go in house in Spain.

New tenants moving in the day after we leave.
