From watching the Spanish news over the Easter, it looks like the Spanish have been flocking to the Costas.  It showed the packed beaches in Benidorm and it also showed jam packed chiringuitos in Malaga city.  I guess after 3 months of solid rain, the Spanish were desperate for a bit of sun?  So perhaps more evidence of things looking up?  Although saying that, I haven't seen many British tourists so far this season...

We´ve had quite a few Brits. in our neck of the woods, this Easter.

You can tell them by their white hairy legs in shorts, and that´s the women!!

It's been very quiet in Manilva recently with hardly any tourists around but I'm still seeing loads of trucks on the roads in the area.  It seems that for every new bar/shop/restaurant that opens, another shuts.  It still looks grim to me unfortunately.

Unemployment has fallen for the second month in a row in Spain.  But......it looks like it is dues to seasonal factors (the start of the tourist season).  More info here.
