Collateral Damage and Smokers!
I wonder if the symbolism of the Icelandic volcanic eruption will be lost on the smoking fraternity. Apparently Icelanders are largely unaffected by the plumes of ash soaring upwards before drifting into Europe’s fair face. I know the feeling.
Last evening I was sat at a table where spirals of smoke from cigarette smokers drifted into the faces of non-smokers. The smokers were of course blithely unaware of the affect of their habit, which was hardly an Act of God. We had to move our chairs.
I was in Harris Bar in Quesada recently. The air was filled with smoke yet there were small children, even a baby in there. Er! Breathtaking isn’t it?
