Any way to keep english no. plate?
The Comments |
Hi,
Silly question I expect, but....
We own a very rare classic mini. He's a restoration job at the moment. Comming over to Spain this month.
It will be some time, if ever, that he will be used on the road. If he is used on the road it will not be very often. Keeping his UK reg. plate would be helpfull in proving what he is.
Does any one know if there are exceptions for classic cars?
Thanks, Febe

Hi,
Yes loads of info. there. Just giving it a quick read, it looks like you can use it for the odd day, at a cost! But that dose'nt get round keeping it legal. How do you get a UK MOT in one day?
I really do'nt want to lose the number plate. I think we will just do him up and keep him off the road here in Spain.
Thanks again for your help. I'll have a good read off that later.
Regards, Febe
