Eatigng out in Rhonda

All our famlly love Rhonda especially the train ride from San Roche but the only downside is that every time we have been there the food has been mediocre .
Can anyone recommend restaurants that serves good food at a reasonable price - not one of those restaurants that show you the plate of food outside and when you get it awful . . We tried one of the restautants as recommended in the Tourist guide but when we got there we were the only people - not a good sign for me . Where do the locals go ? The only people I have seen eating are tourists ?
