So, after what seems like an eternity, we finally get a good game of football.  With the pressure off, both Germany and Uruguay played an open, exciting game.  I'm not that much of a fan of the round ball game (bunch of overpaid fairies who do their training at the local drama school) but that was a really good game.  Well done both teams and congrats to Germany on finishing 3rd.

Oh, and congrats to Paul the octopus for picking the winner yet again.  Now roll on tomorrow and let's hope Spain and Holland give us an equally good game (with Spain getting the most goals, of course).
