UK Military pension and moving to Spain??

Saracen,
It is not a matter of how they will know (but believe me it is not that difficult and in any case HMRC and Hacienda communicate daily) it what you are legally required to do.
If you do not pay the tax which is required to be paid in Spain then, just like in UK, you could be in trouble and not only finish up paying tax twice but also being fined, or worse.

Johnzx thanks very much as i an honest guy i will be informing the HMRC i do not want to avoid paying any tax i just want to know what to do and the best way of going around it. i have been in the army for 23 years and next year i will have to do all this for my self as army life some times is not the real world if you know what i mean, it all gets done for you and now it is time for me to stand on my own 2 feet. thanks
