I don't get any email notifications at all, despite having the box checked for replies.

I don't have a spam folder. Everthing comes into my account unless I have manually listed it in a rule by subject to dump it from the server.

The address was right Justin, I have changed it to one of my others to see if that makes any difference.

The notification has arrived on the newaddress, strange?? I shall do some digging now. I also got a pm from johnone which I have replied to.Did you get it John?

I have just had a look at the email headers and seen:

X-SPF-Warn: eyeonspain.com Sender, but not from approved relay.
X-BV-Spam-Score: 3.0 (+++)

I have also checked my domain web hosting and realised that SpamAssassin is on, albeit at a very low score rate which would seem to be the problem. I have had to add the EOS address to the whitelist in an attempt to resolve it. Normally any spam messages come in flagged as such, but these are being binned before it gets that far!

Seems your email server must trash stuff from non recommended relays the same as mine was doing John. Is your email an ISP one or one that comes with your domain? Can you configure the system and whitelist the EOS address?

I often get email notification for a post made a few mins before  but I also often get email notification for posts made two hours before.  

Justin, this took 4 hrs to reach my email address, look !!

Just seems odd that some takes 1minute, others take x hours.

I have site always open anyway.

Don't care anyway today as we have                 & we are going to seafront to meet an EOS member & his wife, who we also met last Friday as they're holidaying nearby in their caravan.
