Got it, just had a look, thankyou. So does that translate that a couple have got her with the intentions of looking after her as if she were their own. I hope hes right then there is still some real hope of getting her back alive and well.

hello to all, did anyone see a program about six weeks ago on sky, it was about a woman in america who can help find missing persons, before you all say anything she works with the c.i.a. and the f.b.i. and she is well thought of , anything is worth a try why don't they contact her through the correct channels you never no.srp.

Still desperately hoping that this child is found safe. I'm posting just to keep this in the recent threads - please don't let this become old news....................
Can one of the IT buffs add a picture or poster of Madeleine to the thread too so that anyone logging on will see what she looks like.

Their must be someone out in this world that knows something about this little girl. I just hope they do find her safe and well. Bless her. I cannot imagine how the parents are coping. Pat

Have just watched Madeleine's parents give their interview it is so sad. I wished their could be a breakthrough in this case. It has been long enough now. Please let it end.. Pat

Is it me?
I've just been told that they found child porn on Murat's computer. Is that true? If it's not, then fair enough, someone is just being malicious, but what do the police know that they are not telling us that keeps Murat as the principal suspect.
Why did Murat hire a car when he apparently has access to 2 of his own?
Why did that Russian chap wipe all his hard drives before the police took them away? Why did he use the word "rape" when he said he didn't rape kids, why didn't he say he didn't abduct kids or something less descriptive.
Why did Murat ring the Russian the night Madeleine dissappeared?
Too many unanswered questions!

DAY 24
Strange day after all the activity during the week. Kate and I started off with an early morning run to the the top of the nearby cliffs. Sean and Amelie were back in kids club and went swimming again. The rest of us attended mass which was very emotional as a priest from RAF Lossiemouth was visiting and further prayers were said for Madeleine. Father Zee-Manuel has also rigged up a powerpoint display projecting a large photograph of Madeleine on to the wall, which he is very proud of and reminds us of the beautiful little girl we are missing so terribly.
There have been some requests for more information ‘about Madeleine’ and this section will be updated very soon. We will also be releasing a very short video of Madeleine taken at the Airport on the day we left for Portugal, Saturday 28 April. Sean and Amelie went to the beach this afternoon with mummy, auntie Trisha and Anne but daddy stayed in the apartment catching up on campaign e-mails, making calls and liaising with Clarence our press officer. The resort is much busier again as it is half-term and there are definitely less journalists here. Many of them have been here since the beginning and are making this journey with us.
The couple of Sunday articles we read did not cover much of what we talked about and seemed to get some of the other stuff wrong! We stated that Sean and Amelie are sleeping in our room (in separate cots) because of other family staying with us and that we were trying to treat them as normal and not be overprotective. This came out that we were so protective we have to have them sleeping in our bed! These inaccuracies are not important in our search for Madeleine and the next phase is being planned currently.
It looks like our planned trips to other European cities will start off in Rome after we learned today that the Pope has been following Madeleine’s abduction closely. There is a reasonable chance we may get a chance to meet the Pontiff and that he will pray for Madeleine. Such a visit would generate huge publicity regarding the family campaign to find Madeleine and will also give Kate and I a great spiritual lift. It will also raise the awareness of missing and abused children generally. We continue to pray that someone will provide the key information that leads us to Madeleine.

we are not the ones to watch lots of tv ,But it seems we have got into the habbit of turning sky news on as soon as we wake to see and pray that this poppit is safe and back in her warm bed. Again it brings to lite all those parents around this small planet who have had floods and disasters never to see there children again who must go to sleep and wake up wondering are there children in gods arms or still alive. .
Sorry if I offend but I am still for Hanging these Animals who cause this sadness to helpless families . we also have the technology to tag the other animals who prey on children .

Day 28
Press conference in Rome went very well giving us an excellent forum to ask for help in the search for Madeleine. We told people about the website, how to download posters and ask people to print them and take on holiday wherever they are.
We arrived in Madrid late last night and have a series of meetings arranged with government and non government agencies concerned with child welfare. We will also be hosting a press conference again to raise general awareness of Madeleine´s disappearance and ask for the public´s help in our search for Madeleine. We may also do a few very short interviews for US news stations which are widely broadcast in Europe, N.Africa and Asia, particularly in English speaking hotels and other outlets. Will update after meetings.

A mystery sample of DNA has been found in the bedroom where Madeleine McCann was abducted, according to reports.
Gerry and Kate McCann are now in Madrid
Portuguese newspaper 24 Horas claimed the DNA does not match that of Mr and Mrs McCann or their three children.
Neither does the DNA match that of the only named suspect in the case, property developer Robert Murat, the paper said.
It was reported that The Portuguese police, Policia Judiciara (PJ), have handed the sample to the national forensic laboratories, the Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal.
The newspaper quoted a source from the laboratory who said: "There is a new suspect, there is DNA which does not correspond to the family.
"It is an important step in the investigation but the truth is that the DNA collected does not have a name.
"In other words we cannot make any connection between the material collected and the suspects which we already have."
Reports say the new DNA sample does not match the McCanns
The newspaper said the DNA would be compared to all the evidence gathered by the PJ to see if a match could be found.
But, the source continued: "This does not mean that Robert Murat could not be incriminated but there is a person who was in the room who as yet it is not possible to identify.
"There are a lot of things already concluded but there are a lot of things still to do."

What I found scary was that I have returned from Spain with one of my daughters in a transit van and arrived at the spanish/french border at around 10.30 at night and was surprised that I wasn't even stopped to check the identity of my daughter and myself.
Now I know that Madeleine is most probably out of the country by now but if she wasn't what does this say about border controls.
