Spanish Mortgages
The Comments |
Hello
Does anyone have an idea on mortgage lending in Spain currently?
I remember taking out a 70% loan 5 yrs ago it was quite easy really ,I have paid of a considerable amount and wish for a larger villa for my future retirement
I know in the UK it is tight on lending now and you need 25% deposit to get anything decent
I guess the purchase price would be something like 500000 euros over a twenty year term to get the right property
Thanks Rod

There are ongoing meetings in preparation for a permanent team work on reactivation of the real estate market going on at present moment: government, main developers, main banks.... One of the main objectives is to restart financiation... let´s see
We miss consumers associations in the initial preparatory meetings... I expect them to be consulted at some point

Hi Rod
We can offer 80% mortgages on our properties for residents and 70% for non residents through our financing bank subject to status of course and bank valuation.
