solicitud certificacion de no residencia

 Hi

I have recieved my bi monthly bank statement from caixa galicia,it has a alarge piece on certificacion negativa de residencia.

As my spanish is not very good I am looking for help on this issue.From what I can gather it ha sbeen 2 years since opening my bank account and I have to renew this certificate.I think it says that I can do this by going into any of thier branches but as I am not going to spain for a couple of months this is not possible.It mentions something about a fee of 10 euros.They have not sent me a form or anything to sign so I am not sure what I have to do.Any suggestion?

Hi........I bank with Santander. My certification is deducted from my account every 2 years. Remember if your account is joint you pay 2 x's..... Not too sure but I understand Certification is controlled by the police.

You may find that your bank will do the same
