Speed Limit

Hi.
I recently heard that Spain had introduced lower speed limits to save oil after Lybia started to rumble. I have not heard anything about it since. Are the limits still in place? Thanks

Yes, the speed on motorways has been reduced by 10 kph from 120 to 110 kph. This was introduced in early March this year. I believe that they were also considering introducing a lower speed limit in some parts of town/city centers, but to date there has been no move on that front.
