I stumbled across this essay yesterday that I first saw about a year and a half ago. It´s written by the infamous Darius Guppy and whilst it isn´t country specific (sorry Justin!), it is certainly relevant and a great starting point for anyone that wants a layman´s introduction to fractional reserve banking and is interested to know why the system now finds itself on the brink.
