Puppy Vacanations

I have been to 2 vets with my new Bichon Maltese Puppy he is 14 weeks had 2 vaccionations 1 vet said we can let him out in 1 week & the other said he cant go out until he has had his 3rd booster in 3 weeks then 2 days after that . I just want to do what is right for him i know in the UK they get 2 sets hence why i am asking, Thanks in advance,

Hi Shirley,
I understand your concern and of course it will be best to have this covered so you don't encounter any problems when the time comes- that can be very stressfull!
The best place for you to check this will definately be the Defra website, under the ''travelling with Pets'' section, they specialise in these kind of things. It ends in gov.uk ! (won't let me incldue link!)

We have a 16 week old Great Dane. We got her at 6 weeks old and took her for her 1st of 3. They were given every 15 days thereafter and she was allowed out only 6 days after the 3rd injection. Hope this helps.
We were surprised how young breeders move puppies out but their reason was that the puppy had been previously weaned and there was no need to keep her.
