Anyone installed a stairlift?

Has anyone installed a stairlift ? What permission is needed and are there any grants available or IVA exemption? My husband is resgisterd disabled (72%) in Spain. Using the stairs is becoming increasingly difficult but we do not want to move.

Having lived and worked in Spain in the mobility industry for over a decade I can tell you that sometimes the wheels of progress run quite slowly over here regarding stairlifts installations.
