Hi to you all in spain and the uk , im a police officer with 6 yrs service to go then im taking the plunge, probably to malaga area ,at the moment we dont think we will buy just rent and keep our property in the uk , test the water for a year or so

Welcome to EOS.  It sounds like you are one of the sensible ones!  Most of us who live over here advise people to rent first and see whether they are happy living here, and especially during the winter months as well as the summer.  Many people love coming to Spain for their holidays, decide to move here and don't realise how cold it can be during the winter.

 Bienvenido granjero!  So you have 6 years to come as often as possible so you can check out where you think you might want to live and even learn a bit of spanish.  Sounds like a great plan and good to know that you're taking an organised approach to it.  There's loads of info on EOS and lots of people who are willing to help and answer any questions, however trivial you think they might be.  Yes - we can even tell you where to get your PG tips!!
