I need to set up a direct order to pay for a rental property in Spain.

I wonder if people have had experience of money corp and if you would recommend them or not??

I would be very interested to hear of peoples experiences.

Thanks

Gary

I have tried several of the large currency dealers, but the best deal I have got is through my own bank, Cambank. They pay around 2 cents under the commercial rate and don't charge any transfer fees. If you bank with Cam, in my opinion it's the best choice. I believe Moneycorp charge around £4 per transfer. Another company that I have just stopped using did not charge a transfer fee, but the amount they were paying me was less than the tourist rate!

I have used Moneycorp for several years, rates have been reasonable and the service has been very good.

They do what they say they will do and certainly helped us with the recent Bankia fiasco.

thank you both that's certainly very helpful information.

They offered me 1.20 rate today compared to 1.16 from my bank which I thought was pretty good as its not a huge amount of money that i'm transfering.

i've never heard of Cambank but i'll look into that as well, thank you Jarvi.

I use Xe.com. Good prices, even for small amounts, and no fees.
