Coming to Formentera Del Segura and question please!

 Hello!

I'm flying out in the New Year to do voluntary work at an animal sanctuary near Formentera, and am excited (but quite scared too!).

When I say "in the New Year" ...in my excitement I got carried away, booked my flight for 1/1/13.....then the old grey cells kicked back in and reminded me that the supermarkets are going to be closed on that day (I know, not very bright!).  Could anyone just confirm that they will be closed....so I can add enough basic provisions to my luggage.

I´m assuming you´ll have transport... Normally Super Valu will be open in the morning in Formentera and almost certainly the Super Valu up by the Quesada Golf Course will be open.

Isn´t there anyone this end who can get you some provisions? I live in Formentera and would happily get you some provisions and you can collect them from me.
