Bucket help.

I know this has been covered before.....................but I have sat sitting for some time now quietly going mad trying to work out this 'bucket' thing. I know Morerosada said things were simple when you got out of the 'bucket' but I can't even get in the bucket.................................any explaination in SIMPLE terms please !

Have a look under forum help then go to bucket help!!!! thread, have a look and then if I can i might be able to put it into blonde speak for you if you don't get it. I didn't for a long time but once you do it will be addictive. Have a go.

Karen, I'll post info in forum help (when I have the time) on how to negotiate the infamous bucket, how to post pictures on this forum (all forums have different ways of doing it), how to resize the larger pictures to a more acceptable size & also how to add a picture to your signature, ok ?

It really is easy once you know, but, like all things, it just has to be talked through. God, if it was difficult, I'd not have got my head around it & if our Gina got into/out of the bucket, albeit with my help, it's open to the majority of us.

Karen, I'm not sure what you did to get the box with a red x inside it.

If you put a picture in the photo bucket you'll see an URL code underneath it as an option. Click on the URL code & it should highlight it & say "copied", or right click on it & copy, then come to reply here & click on the small box with a picture of a mountain & sun on it, it's in yellow. It will open up a box. Where it says URL just paste the picture's URL into the box against URL & click "ok". The picture will then show.

You can do it, have faith.

I thought i would see if i could follow this instructions and get this to work

oh flip it didnt work I pasted the URL code in the box and clicked and it blubbed on in Latin and gave me a cross! 

I don't know where you pair are going wrong.

When you save your picture initially from wherever you found it, to a folder on your desktop, did you copy or right click & save ?? I think maybe you copied & it doesn't work if you copy.

YOU MUST RIGHT CLICK & SAVE, OK ? Is that where you're going wrong, I wonder.

im going to try again and if it doesnt work im going to go to bed and eat chocolate until i feel better ... or am sick ... whichever comes first

Flip it worked that time ... the first time i was trying to use a photo i already had saved and this time i 'stole' a piccy from the internet, but other than that i was not aware of doing anything different!

Come on Karen, Auntie EM & I have our fingers  for you.
