we have set up a site to give people information about the certificates. There is a pretty good questions and answers page which should help people understand the law as it stands in plain English. The royal Decree is a very complicated document. Thank you to marisdecastro for sharing the info. There is a lot of conflicting information around but if you have a look at www.energy-performance-certificates-in-spain.com it should answer some of the questions you may have. it was put together with an architect and a technical architect who have both been through the course to carry out the enegy assessment. The information is up to date as a lot of it came from a meeting held yesterday in Murcia which was basically questions and answers.

There is so much bad information around and so many people passing on this information that it is all getting very confusing for very many people. We have tried to put everything in simple terms and the information we have given is correct and up to date.
