Transfer of car?

My very dear friend has recently passed away (in Spain). His wife has asked me to help transfer the ownership of their car into her name. Am I right in thinking that I have to take her in person to Traffico in Alicante, together with all the car docs, NIE, residencia, death cert, inside leg measurement etc etc? Will there be a fee to pay? Any more advice, tips and info would be most welcome.

hi you will need all that you say plus you will have to pay money at the traffico then you will also need to go to the tax office just in case there is some outstanding debet on the car plus you might have to pay some taxes dont think you will do it all in one trip.
