Has anyone got any infomation about the Certificate of Energy Efficiency? Why is it needed? What sort of price is it to get one?

Hi Judith,
These have been discussed ad nauseam on EOS - you need to scroll down a bit to pick up threads.
But in essence they are now a necessary extra cost of €75 to €100 or so so whenever you sell or rent a property. The estate or letting agent will decline to take instructions until you have one. You need to shop around a bit, but to my way of thinking this is one of the few situations where "the cheaper the better".
