leaking roof
The Comments |
Hi,
I have a leak on the roof of my mobile home
It is on a line where the rivets are as the roof
is made of a type of corrugated metal/tin.
can anyone tell me if I can buy a waterproof substance
in the ferreterias or other spanish shops here in spain to
repair the leak.
any replies appreciated

When we had a similar problem with our Yank-Tank Chevvy Allegro M/H, I covered the seam with 4" wide self adhesive metal tape and overlaid it a layer of Isopon Resin and Fibreglass Mesh. It worked very well. You should be able to obtain the materials from any decent Auto-Recambio Motor Factor. Further leaks on the side seams of the M/H I treated with clear silicone bathroom sealant...
