I am looking at having a WiFi hotspot installed in the community
Has anyone done this and would be willing to recommend their provider
I am looking to cover an area of 300M wide by 200M deep?

I would be interested in this information too!
Apart from knowing how to set up wireless networks for personal use I wouldn't how to do it for a large community. We find many people want Wi-Fi available for holidays and for owners who only use their properties on occassions throughtout the year and don't want to pay for a phone line themselves.
I feel there is a good business opportunity here for someone if it doesn't already exist!!

WE have just completed the installation at our community using Y Internet at Calahonda (CDS)
we are very pleased.
and there are various opayment schemes available for full time,part time owners and holidaymakers
they install in communitys for free.
i would advise early consultation within the community about siting of the aerials etc.
