Best beach in murcia

Hi all

just wondering if anyone can recommend a nice beach in murcia

already been to los alcazares , is there a beach better then this?

Great beaches all along the coast. 

Los Alcazares ideal for families is on the Mar Menor but just north of this are Torre de Horadada and La Zenia on the Med.

By far the best beaches are on the Calblanque national park just before you arrive at La Manga strip, but no bars or facilities, just beach and dunes.

Further South there are good beaches all the way down to Puerto Mazarron and below.

There are many quiet, sandy beaches with shallow bathing suitable for kids swimming and others with lots of facilities, including bathing for disabled folk.

But most of the Mazarron beaches are a bit over subscribed in August, but one that's off the beaten track and a bit quieter is Cal Negre as it's got a good well priced restaurant right on the beach and loos etc.  L'Zhoria is fabulous also, sandy and popular with kids - with a choice of restaurants and bars alongside.   It has crystal clear water along the shallow eastern shoreline which is non sandy and quieter.  Quite magical.

But "best" depends on your priorities.

Bahia playa is a nice safe beach, with no sudden drop when you go into the sea . All the beaches along that part of the coast are good, but in Bolnuevo, you have to be careful with children, as the beach is like a shelf which drops. When you go into the water.

In the port itself there is a good beach , but it gets very crowded in high summer

The beaches of El Allamillo, la Azoia, Isla Plana are in attractive areas, but are more stony
