What's the price of fuel in your area? Can anyone beat this? It's been great watching the prices tumble over the last few months. This was at our local Eroski Gasolinera in Fuengirola this morning. All the big boys, Reposol, Cespa, BP etc are still selling diesel at 1.12 - 1-15

My wife seen in La Zenia shopping centre the deisel was 0.96 just before Xmas- now back above 1€ as of Saturday

Apparently UK prices are not dropping as quick as here in Spain - funny that!

Quesada gas (used to be Eroski) 104.99 diesel, 112.9 petrol 95.

BP garage Corte Valencianos 103.9 diesel, 109.9 petrol 95.

Zenia Boulevard 102.9 diesel 108.9 petrol 95. Buy over €30 in AlCampo and diesel is 97c a litre.

So why are electricity prices still so high? Oh, and paraffin is over €2 a litre.

Here in sunny freezing rip of Britain Diesel is £1.16 at large main Sainsburys store, (but thats 16 miles away from me) smaller Sainsburys about £1.18.

£1.18 to £1.20 ish in local Garages. Petrol about £1.12 ish, depending where you are.

Asda nearly always a penny or so cheaper then the others.

Not that you lot in sunny Spain care that much about us left here.

Yes, baz, nice and sunny here. It may cheer you up to know that it dropped to zero for the last two nights here on the Costa Blanca. Daytime down to around 13. Could you please keep that cold air up there?

(It is forecast to go up over the next few days but felt rather chilly at 10C this morning. Still saw a few in shorts with the ubiquitous socks/sandals and fleeces, though).

AlCampo in Valencia this morning had diesel at 0.99 or 0.98 for club card holders. Petrol at just 1.07 per litre.

I can't remember the last time the litre meter went up faster than the price meter. I think it was when I first moved here.

Yeah I saw that cold spell you had, I have been in Spain for many a Christmas and did have one very cold one, no promise's to keep the cold air here, as you know we do like to share with others.

Don't talk about the shorts, seen that the other day here, minus two out, very very cold wind, ice still about, he had on shorts and a tee shirt, I was going to ask him if he was cold but saw no point, the redness and extra large goose bumps on his face, legs and arms said it all..... I hope he won the bet

Funny how some of you think it hasn't dropped in the UK. Last price I paid was £1.11 about the sixth drop since it was £1.28. OH filled up at £1.09 yesterday. Of course diesel is cheaper in Spain, there is a premium on it in the UK as we are more environmentally aware. Diesel pollutes more!

Don't know whether the low rate of the euro to the USD has anything to do with it but fuel prices have appeared to have taken a bit of a hike upwards. Quesada Gas now 103.9 (79p) so up 4 cents and petrol 95 up a whopping 9 cents to 112.9 (86p).
