Spanish terrestrial TV

My Spanish terrestrial TV has disappeared, just get "please connect areial" message. Has something changed & if so how do I get it back.

Ours is fine but it has been really windy lately so it's possible that the antenna has moved?

Go and have a look at your antenna and compare it to the neighbours to see if there is a noticable difference.

Have you done another auto tune just to make sure you are not getting any signal?

That is all I can really think of.

Not sure if this is relevant, but our local TV shop has a warning about the need to retune after 1 Jan 2015.

Yes, there has been a warning on many of the Spanish TDT channels to retune your channels (resintonizar) since October. Most were broadcasting on the old and the new ones until now.

Simply rescan the digital channels and pick the ones that say definitivo next to them.

However, if all your channels are gone then maybe your aerial has moved a bit. They can be very direction sensitive and we lost all ours last year when the aerial only moved about 10 cm.
