MUMMYS HELP Need advice on schools areas

hi my self partner and six children are looking at leaving the 'English life' behind for a couple of years and seeing what Spain has to offer but help we don't know where to start eg areas ect we are after some advice on the best/safe/ English freindly good school community for ourselfs we are in our twenty a and thirtys our children range between 4-14 we want to take the plunge please someone help us on areas and what they have to offer ect many thanks xx

Before we start with the. advice how are you going to fund you're stay in Spain.

Unless you are willng to pay for an international school. all public schooling in Spain is carried out in Spanish. You would therefore need to pick an area which has a fairly large expat community so the school is used to them. Young kids appear to have no problem and pick up the language very quickly. Older ones not so sure about. The schools are free but the text books and so on are not.
