apprenticeships in catering

Hello im am looking for an apprenticeships in catering in spain starting in september 2015  can anyone help me?

Hi  - I am afraid that I don't think this is a very good place to look for information on apprenticeships in Spain.   Have you just done a general google search?   I am guessing that your best bet is to go with one of the big agencies, but it is likely that the approach is going to be more seasonal work for experience, rather than an apprenticeship.   I am not aware of a Spanish apprenticeship equivelent to the system available in the UK, and in order to get employment you are going to need Spanish - unless you do go for seasonal work in the Brit bars.   

One approach would be to try to find a job in catering in Spain (not easy but not impossible) and learn the trade from the bottom up.    If you are still in education, maybe there is a careers department to help you?

Daughter left school last year now in Uni, no such thing as Apprenticeships ever mentioned. Route here in Spain, School, leave at 16, from 15 you can go to PQPI and do couses , but still have school lessons Spanish, Maths etc, do your Baccalerate leave at 16, go to Uni, there is a caterting collage in Alcoy you could go to and find out info, so sure there are other Catering Collages around, go to your nearest ESO school and find out they will have the info.

Have you tried local bars and resturants, but as you are aware many are closing down good luck keep us informed.
