Help!
The Comments |
Hi -- I'm really hoping someone can help me. My elderly parents bought a house in Marbella 30 years ago. Their health is now failing and they wish to alleviate themselves of the responsibility either by signing it over to their four children or selling it. We don't know anyone who has been in this situation who can help us and have read about very complicated tax scenarios. I wondered if any kind people 'in the know' could give us an understanding of what's involved and the best way forward. We had the property valued last year - we think the valuation of E245,000 is inflated. Would be very grateful if someone could pass on any useful information or recommend someone who is trustworthy and could advise us.
thank you
body P

I'm not going to attempt to answer your question as you yourself realise you need specialist and profesional help. All I would say is that thankfully you have had the foresight to sort it out whilst they are still alive.
Maybe Maria, the lawyer on EOS, will see this and be able to point you in the right direction.
